The Iraqi Puppet Government Has Been Torturing Iraqi Police??
What a fucking mess....

An Iraqi policemen shows bruises, allegedly caused by torturers, as he and his colleagues are treated at a local hospital in Baghdad, Monday, Nov. 14, 2005. According to the victims they were arrested by Interior Minister special forces on Thursday, while they were in plain clothes, patrolling Baghdad's Saydya district. They were released Monday after being detained in an Interior Ministry detention center seized by U.S. forces. (AP Photo/Khalid Mohammed)

Iraqi Sunnis demand international probe of abuse

A Shi'ite militia suspected of involvement denied any ties to the facility, saying it was being blamed for political reasons and in an effort to discredit Shi'ites before elections.

The discovery of the detainees was a major embarrassment for the U.S.-backed government, which has promised to deliver human rights after decades of dictatorship under Saddam Hussein.

Omar Hujail, a member of the Sunni Iraqi Islamic Party, said all the detainees were Sunni Arabs. "It is not the only place where torture takes place," Hujail said at a news conference.

"We have been telling them for ages that there are people wearing the uniforms of the interior ministry raiding houses at night and arresting people but everybody denied it.

1. Hey, why shouldn't they torture? We do it.
The U.S. Vice President thinks it is a good idea. Why shouldn't they use it too. After all, we are the great world power that is setting the example of freedom and democracy. Spreading torture and Democracy through out the Middle East. Isn't that why we attacked Iraq?
