6. Yeah, I'd like to see him one day just get busted
for being obviously and overtly drunk in public.

Maybe a speech where he is so belligerent that even his supporters can tell he's wasted...

That would be a beautiful first step in his downfall...

No one deserves it more.

3. As Tom Lehrer said:
"We'll all go together when we go"

4. I'm sure not in a position to cast the first stone at you.
I do NOT want craziness behind the scenes. I want someone with hard evidence to squeal.

A straitjacket would reassure the world that we can clean up our messes.

11. I see what you mean..... BUT
I think that most of us here would love nothing better than to see a screaming match between him and chaney

13. Not sure why you think I wouldn't enjoy that. I'd eat it with a spoon!
I'm done with rumors, I want it to play out before the nation and the world. Yes, it will be messy! But if our leaders are criminally insane, we need to clean house.

We can't worry about what will the world think if this gets out, like the torture thing. People talking about our secret jails isn't the problem, the fact we have secret jails is the problem.

Well, I am all over the road here, but if this kind of shit goes down, I hope we can sit near each other and watch!

14. I know that we would ALL enjoy this......
...and part of the pleasure will be knowing that others of "my kind" are also taking pleasure.

5. In the words of his father...
nah gunna happen.

He has the stiff upper lip of we WASP types and he will fall over dead before letting anyone in. I know I would, and I was raised by British repression experts. My upper lip is so stiff it doesn't even move.

I can disengage and go into my happy place quick as I can cross my eyes. It's a cultural advantage we share.

Of course I have very quiet panic attacks with some regularity and take Ativan now and then. But in public? Impassive as stone.

7. No, you're completely justified.
As we all are. Personally, I don't enjoy watching somebody slide down, down down. But in Bush's case, it's all deserved.

These next 3 years should be very interesting. I'm sure Bush will emerge looking like a 100-year old man, haggard and worn out.

Was it worth it, old buddy?

9. I'll be visiting my Bush-loving parents over Xmas
They have a rule that I can't bring up politics while visiting (because they know I'm much more informed than they are). It would be a sweet gift to watch my parents admit they were wrong as he throws a hissy fit live on TeeVee. I'm guessing their Bush support is wavering anyway, but I really don't know because we don't talk about politics.
