Whoa! Hold everything! What did I miss?

I've been kinda tied up and out of touch for large chunks of time over the past 2 days. What is all this chatter about Woodward? What exactly did he say? I gather he has information about the Plame case and that it has the potential of totally changing the course of it. What happened?

3. Woodward has gone on record that a White House official

revealed Valerie Plame's identity as a CIA operative to him. And this official WAS NOT "Scooter" Libby. Patrick Fitzgerald had Woodward on the stand in front of the Grand Jury. Woodward refused to reveal the source. What is most disturbing about this is Woodward's attitude about the whole thing. He almost seems to look upon it as an off-hand comment during idle chitchat. In addition there has been posts made about evidence on tape.

The Plame case did not end with Libby! Patrick Fitzgerald is still working behind the curtain. Someone, perhaps several people, in that White House are still in trouble.

5. Fitzgerald, according to Woodward,

had him give his deposition under oath "at the law office of Howard Shapiro of the firm Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr instead of appearing under subpoena before a grand jury."

Trivial difference, but a difference nonetheless.
