So will Woodward end up to the good in all of this?
He's been a dick on many shows talking about how unimportant this whole case is so will people finally look at him in a different light? I'm not taking about the people here obviously.

1. He's burned in his field. He used his position to cover his ass for
two years trying to kill a story that he was a part of and afraid to be called on.

He also lied about telling Pincus in a cover up attempt.

Tonight I am writing the Washington Post. He should be fired or compelled to resign at the very least.

This is so much worse than the Dan Rather incident. So much worse.

2. How come everyone respects Fitzgerald except for Woody?

When I saw that video clip with Woody saying such a cutting statement about Fitzgerald, I knew something was fishy.

You could tell he was really angry and wanted to bat the TRUTH down immediately.

He was so arrogant. I hope he writes his next book from a cell.

4. I am wondering if there wasn't a conspiracy on the part
of Hadley and Libby to discredit Wilson. The conspiracy would go like this: Hadley would leak to the Washington Post via Woodward and Libby to the New York Times via Judy. That way the two most influential newspapers would have the story and the rest of the media would pick it up from these "respectable" sources. Woodward had proved that he wouldn't reveal his source by keeping quiet about Deep Throat. And Judy went to jail for 85 days. So Hadley and Libby chose wisely when it came to protecting themselves. Too bad for them and good for us that Fitzgerald was so good at his job.
