I hope some of you are watching the Abrams Report
they are trying to spin this thing as "Fitz's credibility has taken a hit".

By devulging the info to Woodward first, this somehow exonerates Libby :crazy:

Libby was indicted with perjury, making false statements and obstruction of justice. He wasn't charged with leaking classified information. So, I fail to see how this affects Fitz's case against Libby.

What the hell are these people thinking??

Those facts are not in dispute. He did LIE.. These are the same freaks who caught Clinton on the same thing, and they cannot spin their way out of the web.. They spun the WEB and got caught in it :rofl:

6. Not watching, but this is such garbage
on the part of Libby's lawyers, aside from the fact that Fitzgerald didn't charge Libby with being the first WH official to out Valerie Plame, we know that Libby talked to Judith Miller in June, and all we know from Woodward is a vague reference to 'mid-June'. What was the date? It's still possible that Libby talked to Miller either simultaneously or earlier than Woodward's conversations with WH officials.

I see nothing that changes the fact that Libby lied, repeatedly to the Special Prosecutor ~ am I missing something here?

Woodward was an eyewitness to a CRIME BEING COMMITTED.
He was not "protecting a source" who was simply revealing a crime.
They are trying very hard to conflate the two things - on purpose.

22. It's a diversion: They keep trying to portray the Fitz investigation as
precedent setting in regards to forcing journos to testify before a grand jury or face contempt of court and it simply isn't.

And a fed shield law would not have protected Judy Miller. They're simply diverting from the "underlying" issue with all that crap.

So Woodward's story is that he hid that he had info (even from his WaPo bosses) because he didn't wanna be supoenaed like his colleagues Pincus, etc? (Or was he saving it up for a book that would "expose" the Plame affair as much ado about nothing?) What a man. Somehow I don't see Bobby doing 85 days in the slammer like Miller. Woodward's a parasite.

have nothing on this dictatorship. I would love it if thousands of protestors picketed all these damn unAmerican prostitutes. We live in a country where you can't believe the government and can't believe the press. Fitzgerald is democracy's last chance and I wonder if he knows it.
