What does the Woodward revelation have to do with throwing Fitz' case against Libby into doubt? I've heard a lot of gleeful talking heads on Corporate News Network today suggesting this.

7. Libby said Tim Russert told him about Plame.

That's a lie. And obstruction.

What happened today with Woodward doesn't change that one bit.

Plus, all Fitz said is that Libby was the first KNOWN White House official to leak Plame's name to the press. Maybe there was one that pre-ceded him, but that doesn't get Libby off the hook AT ALL for lying and obstructing.

The press is so stupid for repeating Libby's lawyer's talking points. Jeez.
