Do You Ever Watch The "Fallen Heroes" Segment On The CBS Evening News?
They're just kids! Heartbreaking. Every single face, every story. It's difficult to watch.

2. Yes, oh God
Our local news had a story about a kid home on leave around here. A few months later he showed up on Fallen Heroes. I lost it.

It's sad. I hope that your troops come home soon.

God Bless.

6. I am living in Canada ...

... and a couple of times, I have seen the name of someone I went to school with back in New York, but with the added 'Jr.' or 'II' The hometown given is my hometown, and the names are not common, so I knew when I saw them that these were the sons of my old HS classmates.

That really drives it home for me - to think that someone I grew up with just lost a first-born son. I have a son myself, and I can't begin to imagine the pain and grief they're going through.

Good God, may this madness end SOON!

8. It's devastating. It's painful to watch. I never miss it.
It's the most upsetting thing, and it takes me awhile every weekday night to shake it out of my head and go about my life.

It is absolutely heartbreaking. CBS memorializes these soldiers and their sacrifice in a way that isn't tacky, and it shows that they're still a news organization. It's a shame that more Americans don't watch the CBS Evening News.

What is truly a shame is the circumstances under which these soldiers gave their lives. After that segment, sometimes I don't know whether to scream or weep.
