What if it's all a show and we find out tomorrow that the Chinese go along with it? I mean, the US elite is allowing their elite to survive; at the cost of all of us.

Communication with the Chinese is a much different ball of wax than with say, the French or Germans, or even Arabs. The undertones...what is not said is much more significant that what is.
Karen Hughes is a pyker in size of ego compared to Bush. The chinese press will be interesting to read after his visit. especially if he sells the last of the U.S.of A. to the Chinese.
I have no doubt that the Chinese already see Bush as a bumbling crass idiot. I also know that someone SOMEWHERE has hopefully tried to bring bush up to speed on minding his p's and q's with the Chinese. I don't think bush grasp the enormity of this though. If he doesn't, and he is allowed to be all 'karen hughes', we are doomed.
