in her statements on the House floor in the budget debate. (CSPAN)

Said it was from a "lifelong Democrat in California" who supported the Republican budget.

(I tried to look away, but you know how hard it is...)

One of the oldest in the book -- just say that your enemies (and the friends and/or fellow-thinkers of your immediate adversary) agree with you, and it reduces the chances of your immediate adversary's resistance succeeding.

Why not reply with "From a lifelong Republican in Connecticut" -- ?

There are over 280 million people in this country ... and ONE lifelong Democrat sent an email in support of the Republican budget! :rofl:

What is this supposed to accomplish? Do they honestly believe that millions of people across the country will suddenly say, "Hey gang ... if Bob, the lifelong Democrat from California, thinks it's a good budget, then I'm jumping on board the GOP train!" :eyes:
