Remember when no one was allowed to criticize or laugh at dubya?
Edited on Fri Nov-18-05 06:21 AM by mopaul
seriously, after his greatest hit, nine eleven, it was inappropriate to make bush jokes or criticize him or his policies for fear of being labeled unpatriotic or worse, a traitor. jay leno himself did clinton sex jokes for a whole year, and totally gave w a pass.

those were the days huh dubya? my my how the mighty have fallen on their asses. what a difference a year makes...

i'm diggin' it

1. You just

5. That 89% approval was never for Bush
It was the American people showing support for each other and * just happened to be the guy who was in office at the time. It was the ultimate false positive.

9. Hi Don! Sure We Were, But. . .
. . .we were the ones who wished someone better was in office while we all trying to support one another. The 89% rallied behind the suit in the office, the rest of us wished someone else was wearing the suit.

10. No - we 11 percenters were just smart enough to separate
our feelings of national pride and support from any positive feelings that might have projected on the imbecile in chief.

6. yeah - maybe they should....
bring back "That's My Bush"

Did anyone ever see that TV show?

Before 911 it looked pretty stupid....
then it was killed when once no one
was allowed to question dear leader.

Now it looks like it may have
been prescient genius

anybody?

8. He's attempting to recapture those glory days............
now with his non-stop "they saw the same intelligence, it's sending the wrong message to the terraists", tour. People aren't buying it this time though, they've gone to the "terra" well too many times.
How stupid are they? They expect the same result as before but every "fact" they cooked to support their argument last time has been debunked and proved to be lies. One trick ponies, the whole lot of them.

15. The Pubs give way too much credit for Bush high poll # after 9/11
It was a time for the Nation to Rally and Bush is the Leader so they rally round the flag.

But Bush ruined that by slowly fucking up over the 4 year period since. Instead of running with the Ball...he fumbled badly not once but several times and now he gets a vote of no confidence....

Bush is fuckin toast.
