Ex FBI Head Louis Freeh Charges 9/11 Commission Cover-Up! (WSJ)
From the WSJ via Newsmax (ugh) comes this peculiarly hopeful news. Fresh from his Clinton-bashing book, Freeh now is tackling the 9/11 Commission, in hopes of pinning the whole deal on Clinton. Which of course is hilarious...be careful what you wish for, Louis baby. This could be huge!

Louis Freeh Charges 9/11 Commission Cover-Up

NewsMax.com Wires
Thursday, Nov. 17, 2005

Former FBI Director Louis J. Freeh slammed the 9/11 Commission Thursday saying it ignored – or "summarily rejected" – the most critical piece of intelligence that could have prevented the horrific attacks of September 11, 2001.

Writing in the Wall Street Journal's opinion page, Freeh gave a blistering review of the Commission and says new revelations indicate it is "a good time for the country to make some assessments of the 9/11 Commission itself."

(snip)

Freeh maintains that the Able Danger intelligence, if confirmed, is "undoubtedly the most relevant fact of the entire post-9/11 inquiry . . . Yet the 9/11 Commission inexplicably concluded that it "was not historically significant."

(snip)

Though Freeh never blames any Clinton administration officials by name, responsibility for the intelligence failure would squarely fall on the Clinton administration as Able Danger's information was uncovered before George Bush became president.

1. no it wouldnt fall on clinton. they passed ALL of their intel to bushco
during the transition.

there were 9 months in which to take some action and there was NONE.

If clinton were still president during that time you bet there would have been serious attention paid to all of the warnings 9/11, imo, would have been short circuited and should have been by *.

nothing gets them off the hook. they wanted something like this (pnac evidence) and exploited it to the hilt.

2. Perfect. Mercury is Retrograde now.
Let's bring up 9/11 and the issue of responsibility again.

In fact, the nation has never really had this discussion. I believe it will be immensely interesting and illuminating.

Let us all rally to join Mr. Freeh and the Freepers and SCRUTINIZE what actually happened on 9/11.

I suggest we start with the Stock Options scandal, and move on at breakneck pace to My Pet Goat.

3. Yeah, but who shut it down and will not allow others to testifyTHIS ADMIN
They wish it was Clinton! We know it can't be, because they wouldn't cover up for him. They are protecting the Bush Admin.

7. Not this " Able Danger" crap again...
The wingnuts have been trying for months to get this wacko conspiracy theory into the news, with ZERO success.

It is no wonder that NewsMax is leading the charge.

8. That's the beauty of it
Of course the wingers are wrong. But let's face it. Wayne Madsen, Michael Moore and John Conyers are not going to get the broad public attention that Freeh and Weldon are getting. This is EXACTLY what the 9/11 situation needs: freepers and wingers digging into it.

It's Pandora's Box. Anyone who's spent any time learning about the truth of 9/11 knows this.

Open that baby up! I can't wait to see what flies out of it.
