Oh, those crazy RW LTTEs!
http://www.thevictoriaadvocate.com/opinion/letters/story/3169505p-3672154c.html

Will somebody please write the president and the Republican members of Congress and remind them that they are indeed Republicans and that they are in control of Congress, that they no longer have to kowtow to Democrats as in the past? They don't seem to know that.

They spend money like drunken Democrats and are so afraid of the liberal media and not getting re-elected that they refuse to do what they promised to do when running for election. They have always promised to make government smaller and to cut taxes. Well, they did cut taxes but increased spending. This makes about as much sense as me getting laid off from my job and then borrowing money for a new car or house.

Of course, he won't vote for a Dem, even though his party has no intentions of keeping their promises.

3. How about this one from this morning's Anchorage Daily News?
Republican 'scare machine'? The Democrats are even scarier

In response to Jon Goniwiecha's letter ("Voters: Don't be brainwashed by Republican scare machine," Nov. 12):

He tells the readers not to be scared of the Republican "scare machine" next election. If I remember right, wasn't it the Democrats who were screaming that there would be a draft? Wasn't it the Democrats who said that our troops will be slaughtered in Iraq and Afghanistan? Wasn't it the Democrats who will not fight terrorism? (That's the scariest thing of all.)

And in his hilarious comparison of the presidential candidates he states that Sen. John Kerry "was an articulate, intelligent candidate with plausible ideas for solving problems." Which ideas were those? Was it the one where we treat terrorism like prostitution? Or was it the one where we go to war with Iraq, then not go to war with Iraq, then maybe go to war with Iraq? If he did have any good ideas, he squandered them amidst changing his mind on just about every issue except maybe increasing taxes (another scary thing). But I have to admit he was articulate. Hardly an excuse to vote for him though.

Still, remember what Jon says and listen to the shrill cries of warning without evidence or alternative solutions. It will be a landslide if you pay attention.

Democrats are worse than terrorists

The American people are convinced that the United States has two major enemies. Enemy No. 1 is the Democrat Party. Enemy No. 2 is world terrorism.

That's it. The entire letter. Very informative wouldn't you say?
