Remember these little gems from Bush in 2000?
Bush Bombs On Letterman

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2000/03/01/politics/main166937.shtml

Bush shot back with "It's about time you had the heart to invite me," an apparent reference to Letterman's recent bypass heart surgery.

Amid boos from the audience, Letterman shook his head: "You're winning delegates left and right, governor."

Leaving that joke, Letterman brought up one of Bush's many slogans: "You often say: I'm a uniter, not a divider. What does that mean?"

Without hesitation, Bush continued to goad Letterman: "It means when it comes time to sew up your chest cavity, we use stitches as opposed to opening it up." The remark produced more boos from the audience.

2. Jeez, now I remember why I've hated him since 2000.
I remember some repug family members going to see him speak nearby and saying how 'wonderful' he was. Wonderful? I could not believe anyone in their right mind would not be disgusted by this man.

3. I still remember last year
Tom Brokaw had some special on all he's seen in his years of tv journalism and one point he was interviewing Bush. Brokaw told Bush how Clinton had a high approval raiting of like 60% or so. Bush's response? He shrugged and said: "So? I'm president now." Brokaw, you could tell, was surprised at that.

4. I remember seeing that on Letterman.
I couldn't believe it, Letterman was also taken aback by Bush's comments. I thought to myself there is no way this oaf will ever become President. That is when I still had a tiny bit of faith in the American people and the system.
