Could/Should Dems turn things Back on Reporters?
We know Scotty has no problem accusing reporters of all sorts of things. And if a reporter dares utter anything accusatory about the admin they are immediately pilloried.

At least that's how it works on the right. But when interviewing a democrat it appears that the Wolf Blitzers of the world can repeat any RW spin point or baseless accussation completely free of reprisals. It's a VERY rare day when the Dem turns on them and asks "What just came out of your mouth?"

SO I'm wondering, how should dems respond ON TV when reporters insert RW talking points into questions?
---------
I Think turning on woodruff or blitzer and directly asking:

Why are you advancing RW talking points?

or saying

I expect crap like that on FOX but not from YOU!

Or

Aren't journalists supposed to be objective and interested in the truth or did the RW buy that too?
--------

And if they can say such things (and I suspect they could if they thought they wouldn't lose votes or interviews)..the reporters would still bring them on. I think they have to be brought on CNN and MSNBC. I think the reporters are subject to direct pressure when they feel it...and I think our dems are capable of applying it.

But I think they believe that doing so would somehow backfire. I disagree. But how to convince them of that...that's still a mystery.
