5. I told Jack Murtha in an email
Edited on Fri Nov-18-05 08:08 PM by zidzi
from Dean's letter page that ..we knew this would be coming from the cowardly bush-cheney gang but that I think they are smearing the wrong Veteran this time.

7. Bush Inc's smearing of Veterans proves
What immoral POS they REALLY are...smearing people who bled for the flag, who earned Purple Hearts, who lost limbs (we STILL love you Senator Cleland :patriot: )

Smearing done by a dirty bunch of pissant Chickenhawks.

It's NOT just the attempted Swift Boat job on Jack Murtha, or Veterans. Bush Inc's smearing days of their critics are over...because the MAJORITY plus 10% of the nation knows what they are and that's downright fucking LIARS.

So their smearing in actual fact, is probably going to help us more, because it further shows the nation that Bush Inc. are LOWER than whale shit.

10. The sleeping masses bought it before
..imagine buying that John Kerry didn't deserve his Purple Hearts and the freaky republican conventioneers wearing "purple heart" bandaids on their double chins.

I say "Bring It". When calling Jack Murtha a friend of Michael Moore's didn't work now they're going to "investigate" his brother? Hope the masses have caught on to the neocon's mo by now.

Thanks for the bravery of Max Cleland, and John Kerry who were the previous Veterans who were the Smear targets..I would mention mccain but he seemed to like it.

11. My gut feeling is telling me
That the sleeping masses have now awoken. I don't think they're going to buy this horseshit anymore.

The thing about Bush Inc. is, they do the same move over and over again...and because of that, the people are on to their tactics now.

The smearing of Jack Murtha re. ethics probe is just TOO transparent this time, that a 4 year-old could latch on.

Murtha tells the truth about Bush Inc. Bush Inc. says we're going to investigate him over some pie in the sky ethics stuff involving his brother.

Not going to work this time. Their bully boy tactics have been busted. The Genie is out of the bottle and they ain't going to be able to get it back in.

When they smeared Senator Kerry, the Bush bastard's approval rating wasn't between 34% and 36%...it's over for the Bush bastard now, he is beyond desperate...and he'll just hobble along like the cripple he is until 2008...pathetic and impotent.

19. Because
The GOP are vicious pig fuckers.

Jack Murtha's brother has some lobbying firm, so Fatty Hastert and Fuckface Blunt have said:

"Hey Murtha bashed Junior, Murtha told the truth about Junior being a liar...so we're gonna investigate Murtha and his brother who's a lobbyist."

TWO WORDS:

TOM DELAY.

TWO MORE WORDS:

JACK ABRAMHOFF.

ONE WORD:

HYPOCRITES.

2. Not working so well, though.
Which is what happens when people finally see the wizard behind the curtain.

6. You're probably right
It only works when there is just blind trust in the talking heads. Now most people pretty much assume they are lying.

3. Except this time, it may backfire
People are getting fed up with all of the nonsense (to put it mildly) and will most likely make the bums pay next year. It is up to us to keep this alive, however. It's doubtful the media will let it go for more than a day or two.

15. I hope so
I remember the week of the New Jersey and Virgina wins seeing a report about negative campaigning and according to them people are fed up with it. So hopefully it'll backfire.

8. Yes, they're in their last throes and they're thrashing
and flailing and trying to fight back, but they have no punch left. The emperor has no clothes.

Last week, my repub family, two of them, both voted for Bush twice, told me he needs to be impeached. They will not go back ~ something, maybe an accumulation of things, has turned them completely. But just to make sure, I told them stuff they had never heard ~ the fake reporters in the WH press corps, the DSM, the Niger forgeries.

What was so great about this is that we hardly spoke for weeks after the election. I couldn't stand to talk to them. So, I never told them anything, the word is getting out, even to people who normally read only rightwing garbage ~

He's done Bush, if they are now so against him, the tide has turned imo. We fought for five years, fiercely ~ so, I know that when I now tell them about the Republican smear attacks on Murtha, they will be disgusted ~ before, they would not have believed me.

17. Wow!
Edited on Fri Nov-18-05 08:38 PM by FreedomAngel82
Same thing happened to me sorta. My grandma (dad's mom) was a Bush supporter and apologist for the LONGEST times and last week I was visiting with her and she admitted she was losing trust in Bush and even doubting if he was a real Christian (psst he isn't). I about fell off the couch! My grandma and I don't talk politics either and she doesn't get the internet and only has the very basic of cable.

9. I think that's why Warner (R-Va) called for "bipartisanship"...
...and civility. He knows the more 'Pubs keep up their current namecalling, especially against Murtha, the more they risk coming across like Joe McCarthy and losing the public entirely and permanently.

I wish someone could have gotten to a mic when Schmidt called Murtha a coward and said "Have you no shame?"

I think the 'Pubs with this namecalling are tantalizingly close to getting their asses handed to them.

21. I think it is important to point out that this is a rehash of old techniqu
and for everyone to know what those techniques were.

I notice no one is talking about McKinney.

22. I think it is important to keep records of the time line
and to mention that people were saying that the whole WMD thing was a fraud. Thanks to McKinney for saying that.
