I waited for his answer to the question of whether this "ethics probe" was legit, or retaliatory.

I thought Howard might hesitate, and worry that he had to be an impartial Professional Journalist type, and all that.

Then he said simply, "It's retaliatory."

He agreed with my thoughts 100%!:D

16. Thought someone on Countdown was trying to make it sound like
Murtha knew an investigation was coming so he's going on the "attack" first. IOW, they seem to be saying that Murtha's "playing politics" with his attack. (I think that's what I heard--I always seem to be in the kitchen when someone says something outrageous.)
