Lieberman just doesn't get it !
Edited on Wed Oct-15-03 09:25 PM by Cascadian
I know some of you probably read this before. It came out in August but it's a worthy read. It is about Lieberman and his Republican Lite stance. Interesting to read what Russ Feingold had to say about in the article.

1. Nope. And his phony liberal pitch yesterday isn't going to convince
anyone either. Aside from that, you don't come right out and say "I'm going to raise your taxes" Sure, it may end up being necessary, but you don't come out and say it directly, unless you want to lose.

2. Moderates are not doing what they should be doing
Edited on Wed Oct-15-03 10:34 PM by Hippo_Tron
There are more than two ways to go on issues and moderates should be offering more than those two ways, instead Lieberman and Zell Miller are just following Bush. I didn't see a single moderate democrat saying that it's okay to give 350 billion in tax relief if it's used as credits for businesses to expand and ultimately hire more workers instead of being given away to millionaires.

3. Of course DLCers will say....
what choice did we have? We had to vote along with the majority. Do you want us to lose our seats to Republicans?
