VIDEO: Watch Repubs deny this was THEIR resolution.
Watch DEMS become furious at the outright lie and denials. Notice the attempt to brainwash the public and confuse the two resolutions. Notice how the Repubs had to back down and admit their trickery.

7. I do too. It did backfire.
The Dems didn't back immediate withdrawal as the GOP Hunter proposed.
The right wing shot themselves in the foot again.

This is probably what they were hoping so they could use it and say that the democrats don't care about responsibility, honoring the troops, the Iraqi's and all that other stuff.

on this. The bottom line is we have to bring the troops home sooner or later. I'm sure the Repubs would like to champion their own coming home party in their own time. We're taking control of the debate with credibility and they're running scared.

I'm sure Rove is behind the scenes up to his usual tricks. The problem for the repubs is that we know their playbook now.

Even Pelosi talked about this in her speech. She knew what was going on. They just wanted to make the democrats look bad. Someone, I forgot who, said that if the own author of the bill was going to vote against it and urge others not to than that should give you a clue as to what is going on. I loved when Pelosi said: "You can't handle the truth!"
