...at least political talk radio.

My thought is that liberals typically have many more cultural and intellectual interests, and are also much more likely to listen to music than talk. Savage and company appeal to paranoid shut-ins.

Think about what is going on now in California. Mass transit strikes, grocery strikes, police blue flue, gropinator.

On the grocery strikes, can ya picture any big station letting a liberal bash management, while the owners of the company are running ads on the networks?

That is the big thing. Conservative talk show hosts have no conscience when it comes to screwing people, or running ads from those who choose to do so.

Radio is a business built on money. Those with money like those who ignore their wrong doing when it occurs.

Except for outposts like Bernie Wardm Randu Rhodes and a few others, ralk radio pushes liberals away.

Which ought to be fucking illegal. If we had an actual government in this country, broadcast licenses would require balance and access to all viewpoints. But thanks to deregulation and monopoly ownership, media is the plaything of a few rich media monopolists.

5. Right Wingers Are Dumb

Right wing radio appeals to people who are too dumb to interpret events on their own. AM radio commentary is mostly spoonfeeding, and liberals don't need it, they're too intelligent.
