I think they have a repub with them, talking about the loan vs grant for Iraq. "Bush says You can't pile debt on Iraq, But Mr Pres, you're piling debt upon our KIDS"

The terms of the contract call for Bremer to be able to spend the money as he, Bremer, personally sees fit. Ain't it funny that Bremer used to work for Kissinger? Who'd a thunk ol' Kissinger would have a finger in this pie?

Anyway, * has had a hard time ripping us off the old fashioned way. Just wasn't getting the cash flow needed. Now, with $87B in easy money, skimming is gonna be real easy, eh?

Damned Iraqi Welfare Queens are gonna be the ruin of this government yet.

Congressmen talk to empty chambers all the time. One guy who isn't there any more--I think his name was Martinez--used to do this constantly.

Other Congresspeople watch this stuff. As do some political writers. And nuts like us! :)

and how Supporting the troops is important
but considering Vet Benefits and the like
not supporting a blank check is supporting the troops .

Every Dollar going to Iraq is coming straight out
SS and Madicare ..

Repukes not willing to spend 1.8 billion on Veterans ..
