Sometimes I feel like hitting myself in the head with a hammer...
Every once in a while I check in on the 'Conservative' sites to see what they are talking about.

And everytime I do I feel like a lobotomy would have been wiser.

No light of truth gets through to these people.

Here's an excerpt;

What I don't understand is why this ever became an issue in the first place. Has it been verified that she was in fact a covert agent within 5 years of her being "outed" as one?

I think that's the 100 million dollar question. There has to be more to this than we are hearing. I can't believe that it is so obvious to everyone else that she absolutely wasn't a covert agent and yet the CIA asked for this investigation, and the DOJ obliged. This entire thing makes no good sense.

"This entire thing makes no good sense."

You're right, it would only make sense if she WAS A COVERT AGENT!!!

Morons.

9. Tenet formally requested that the DoJ begin a criminal investigation....
...into the Plame leak. He did this after having the CIA conduct an investigation of their own which confirmed that there was a leak from the White House.

My guess is that the CIA also knows who is responsible for authorizing the leak...and they will stop at nothing to bring them to justice.

3. True, but I still want to know
just how it is they go about deluding themselves.

It's kind of like an abberrant social experiment over there.

-To be fair though, there are some bright folks over there who are probably starting to wake up.

5. yes. there are some bright folks on the other side. i posted a
thread a few weeks ago asking "how intelligent, educated people could have voted for bush". and i think you're right -- some are starting to wake up. then on the other hand some are as thick headed and stubborn as bush.

4. I just has a similar experience
when I went to freeptard republic to see what they were saying about the cheap repukelican stunt that was pulled yesterday in the House.

In spite of the fact that even major news organizations are openly calling it a "tactic" or a "republican effort to discredit Iraq war detractors", the dumbshits on freeptard republic think the stunt was really "the democrats cutting and running" and they think their boys won a big political victory. This--in spite of the fact that, looking at the vote, one could just as easily view the vote as showing that the republicans DON'T WANT TO BRING THE TROOPS HOME, IN DEFIANCE OF THE WISHES OF THE MAJORITY OF THE PEOPLE THEY REPRESENT.

Let the repuke little people go on deluding themselves until we have surrounded them and they suddenly find themselves directly under a huge falling anvil with "Will of the People" written on it.

8. Freepers saw themselves as being on the winning team. Now that
they're looking more and more like losers, the sheep will follow the new herd.

This is what the GOP deserves for talking dumb to their own followers.

At least a dem leader knows his constituants understand something real about him/her, and so can reasonably assume they'll stay loyal on election day.

By recruiting the agressively stupid as their base, they are increasingly insecure.
