5. Oh yeah, I forgot about that one. And I have a friend who's going back...
...down to Crawford to join Cindy and the gang for Thanksgiving.

NGU.

4. Yes. There needs to be one that people against the war can have as
their own to recognize the soldiers and their families, but not the leaders who caused their deaths, dismemberments, family break-ups, career destruction, loss of sanity and immune systems. Again, sorry for the blunt words. I try to keep my head out of the sand and use my eyes and ears to learn, but not to accept this unneccesary war.

6. I hope to God there is...
...these troops have been used like objects. They've been so exploited. It's just so heartbreaking.

The neocon scum sent them off to be pawns in their little war-games. It's so sick...they wanted world domination--beginning with the Middle East--but they didn't think through their ridiculous plan.

Thousands of brave, amazing US soldiers will be murdered--and tens of thousands seriously injured--for greed-driven, absurd, sick neocon games.
That's the main reason that I am against this war. I respect the military and every soldier. Sending them off to war should be a last resort and for a noble and worthy cause. Our soldiers have been sent for frivolous reasons.

The current administration loathes the military and has no respect for the sacrifices they make.

Cannon fodder.

There had better be a military. This is worse than Vietnam. History will show that. It's such a disgrace. So much anguish.

This can't ever happen again. Part of the memorial should include all of the lies, all of the ridiculous quotes (We'll be showered with flowers, we're turning a corner, we're making progress, Mission Accomplished, things will improve after Bremmer leaves, things will improve after the election, things will improve after the Constitution is written, the insurgency is in its last throes, we're making great progress, etc, etc, etc). We should juxtapose these inane quote with the KIA and Iraqi deaths, while spotlighting that we've decimated power, water and schools, jobs and other infrastructure.

We should have memorial all right--and it should show the truth about this war and the BushLIES. IT should be a memorial that screams out, "Please, never again!" similar to a memorial for a plane crash, or the OK City bombing.

We need to do more than honor the dead--we need to spotlight the lies so that this NEVER, EVER happens again.

7. I would like to see a statue of Dumbya toppling
like Saddam - not at all appropriate for a memorial to our trapped troops - but like the idea for another use.

9. It would have to be in the shape of a large teardrop
to commemorate all the fruitless death, pain, and anguish caused by this dishonest use of our military personnel.

10. I hope so...
...for our troops...and with a museum that will educate future generations about the importance of citizenship to keep this from ever happening again.:patriot:

11. There'd better be. Also expect some Iraqi immigrants.
I just hope that any Iraqi immigrants will think of the repuke party the same way the earlier Cuban immigrants think of Castro.
