Imagine you are apolitical or undecided (aka, a moron) and are flipping channels when you happen upon Hardball or Hannity and Colmes. You watch for a few seconds, to see what they are saying.

Who are you going to be more inclined to support? A person who smiles at you while calmly, proudly, and assertively telling you exactly what you want to hear (you don't know its BS) or someone who is loud, seems distressed, who is constantly accusing the other person of lying, and is repeatedly scolded by the host for "interrupting"?
