Larry King's role in this new Bob Woodward scandal is fascinating. Woodward's appearances on Larry King Live -- and easy access to the transcripts of those appearances -- has raised the temperature of the already-hot water Woodward is in.

So what is Woodward going to do about it? He's going to appear on Larry King Live tonight in an exclusive interview. I hope it lives up to CNN's billing: "What he knew, when he knew it and why he stayed silent for almost two years."

2. I Can't Wait To NOT Watch This
Does anybody really expect to learn anything from this interview? It's going to be a bunch of softball questions from Larry, to his buddy Bobby, who will either lie or refuse to answer.

Tomorrow night people will be here complaining about this very thing. Which is why I won't even bother tuning in and giving Larry's Lame Show any ratings.

3. Denver Post: Woodward's Plame game, on "Larry King"

The Washington Post's Bob Woodward, a respected author and Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, has some 'splainin' to do. For starters, how is his case different from that of The New York Times' Judith Miller?

KING: Didn't you once call Fitzgerald, though, disgraceful?

WOODWARD: No. I said it is disgraceful that we have an
investigation where reporters are being subpoenaed...

KING: Oh.

WOODWARD: ... and jailed. And, again, I should find words that
say, "I hate it. I don't like it. I think it is not good public
policy. I think people really do need to know what's going on in
government."

And if this is going to become a habit, watch out.
