Remarks by President Bush in Mongolia as Prepared for Delivery
Edited on Mon Nov-21-05 03:50 AM by Bluebear
How does he know what kind of "warm welcome" he is going to get in these remarks prepared for delivery? And what's with this "my home state of Texas"? I thought he was a blueblood from Connecticut? Just sayin'.

BEIJING, Nov. 21 /Christian Wire Service/ -- Following text is of remarks by President Bush in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia as prepared for delivery:

Thank you all for that warm welcome. Mr. President, thank you for that introduction – and thank you and the First Lady for your warm hospitality. Laura and I are pleased to be in your great country – and we bring with us the good wishes of the American people.

I feel very much at home in your country. This is a beautiful land, with huge skies and vast horizons – like my home state of Texas. I thank you for your invitation to come … I am honored to be the first sitting American President to visit Mongolia … and America is proud to be called your "third neighbor.".....
