I support the president because...well, because I'm real stupid
at this point, supporting the stupidest man ever is a dead give away that you yourself are extremely stupid. you need to seek help immediately.

1. I don't think there is a treatment for stupidity
ignorance yes, but the afflicted has to avail themselves to treatment and I don't see that happening.

9. Welcome and all I can add
to freezing the brain...it's always good to give plants a good watering before winter and freezes come, but you don't feed them then.
So it would be even better if first they were stranded in NOLA 9th ward with water trapping them in the attic with no food or fresh water...walk through the high water, still without food and THEN be shipped north to await the winter freeze...

6. No Reagan cut funding for Mental health
I remember there were many mental hospitals closed in the 80's due to lack of federal funding.
Many patients were released. The result was increased homelessness in America.
But I think the bu$h regime is just another side effect from that.

4. Unfortunately, there is no antidote for stupidity so they will continue...
to support the most stupid president ever, even if they were to seek help. It is like domestic violence, the wife stays because she loves and needs him, only to end up dead in the end.

7. How true
:applause:

:7

I wish people would actually say that. They can't come up with a single good reason to plump for him these days. Might as well admit there is no reason at all.

8. Kerry vs Bush . . . Yeah, BEWSH is the better choice!
Because he's done SUCH a tremendous job thus far . . . and Kerry looks like Herman Munster and supports baybee-killin'.

My IQ instantaneously dropped several points just by writing that. Now imagine BEING someone who says this . . . and thinks nothing OF it.

10. I've never had any respect for Bush at all
which is part of the reason I resent him so much.

Then, I realized what an arrogant jackass he is, it only got worse.

And then I saw what he was trying to do to the country, and I got even more angry.

12. Using their elaborate logic....
"Well, I supported him before, and even though he's shown himself to be incredibly stupid, I can't cut and run, I've got to stay the stupidity course, because that's what we do, we stay the course because I supported him before, and to not support him would be to change course, so I'm going to stay the course and support him."

13. Not buying it...
I don't honestly believe it's a matter of freepers supporting * (I'm sure even they know he's an inept idiot). It's all about POWER and the ability to BULLY. They relish having the government being able to tell those 'icky po'black people' to "fuck off and shut the hell up--we're not supporting you" because that's just the kind of pathetic hateful people freepers are.

Freepers don't believe in "society"...they believe in pushing people around and telling them what to do ("and if you don't agree with us, we'll KILL YOU")

16. I agree
I call the results of the 2004 election: The Revenge of the Stupid
People.

The only way someone could have actually voted for this idiot
is if they felt themselves to be comfortable with his inability
to speak English and understand complex issues. His need to reduce
everything to a, "dead or alive, with me or against me" philosophy
us indicative of a mind incapable of complex thought. The sheer
numbers of people who did vote for him scare me to death and make
me afraid for our future.

To need someone of this intellectual caliber to be your leader is
admitting that you have no ability to think and so must fall back
on his use of simple platitudes and religious dogma to make sense
of the world. It is horrifying.
