Bush Returns Home As GM Drops Bomb!
Ahhhh the timing. Didn't someone clue in the head of GM that today was probably not the day to announce which facilities are closing to the tune of 25,000 canned workers plus his gleeful announcement that it's going to be even better than they dreamed of 'cause now they are going to raise that to 30,000. And to think that Georgie just returned from visiting all those AMERICAN jobs that have been shipped 'over there'. I gotta tell you that there now is nothing this empty suit can do anymore to "save his presidency" (whatever the hell that was in the first place). At most he now is just a whinning joke to the public. It's now "IN" and "COOL" to Bush bash. He might as well just order in a truck load of booze and drink himself blind for the next three years. No one will notice or care.

2. Please, let him keep babbling about our "strong economy"
That's what ended his father's presidency. Too bad junior's handlers managed to steal a 2nd term for him.

5. You don't see that in print very often
but, you're right. The "What economic problem?" line killed poppy's chance for a second term. Well, that and a few dozen other issues.

6. The wall street crew and corporate america won't be happy till.......
every available former american job position is filled with a slave wage employee making a buck an hour, including benefits. This is the way corporate america says happy holidays and don't let the door hit you in the ass. Looks like a revolution might be just around the corner.

9. Remember when even the idea of Clinton visiting China
would have sent uproars among the FReepers, who would have accused him of being a traitor and of selling us out to the "hated" Chinese?

Are those days so far away?

11. I gotta life-size picture of a * speech two and a half years from now....
...where * is going on about how great the economy is and how we have to stay the course...and all the reporters are sitting in a group in the back of the room passing around a bottle of Jack, laughing their asses off at the latest Bush jokes, and completely ignoring the shrub....
