Has the Push-back begun within the Washington Post?
I get a hunch that alot of people within the rigidly-controlled Post, the paper whose "patter" is establishment liberal although its owner and editors are a staunch Reaganite neoliberals, are none to happy with Bob Woodward. The long knives may be coming out within the lower levels of Washington Post headquarters, like at the NY Times with Judy Miller. This may take a while to break open, cause it could destroy their reputation and circulation figures if liberals in DC start to realize the Post and Woodward are just an act with a few liberal columnists for window-dressing. What will the journalists on the ground (many of whom are liberal like the rest of DC) choose to do?

Did anyone see the picture of Bush on the front of today's Post grimacing like the SNL impersonator, with a silly headline (something about Bush tries to get out of Japan)? Anyone have the image on-line?

Not something you woulda seen in the Post 2, 4 years ago... plus the defensive, go-down swinging editorial about Woodward in response to allegations that have surfaced here on DU but not yet in the pages of their own paper, even in the news section... like I said, the long knives may be coming out against the top-tier "rainmakers" at the Post.
