War, politics and morale of troops..
While looking at a headline about the morale of the troops being lowered because of criticism of the war, something hit me. If as pro-Iraq war people say, the morale of the troops is declining because of war criticism, I say it is entirely the fault of the pro-war crowd. These people continually make the lying claim that those opposing the Iraq war are criticizing the soldiers and continually link Iraq to 9/11, the war on terror and et cetera.

What is to be expected as the America people are slowly beginning to awake from their war slumber when it comes to the truth about this war? As these lies become more well known, the criticism is only going to increase.

Now, what I'd like to see is for every Dem to demand of a lying pro-Iraq war spokesperson is to identify ANY credible Democrat who has directly EVER criticized the soldiers. And then, when the lying pro-Iraq war spokesperson can't do that, demand of them to defend the President's terrible carrying out of this war where soldiers keep dying in quicker numbers and ask them, if something isn't working, doesn't something need to be changed?

1. Frustration always surrounds a situation w/o a clear means to an end....
productive communication can never happen when all parties are coming from a point of speculation, even when applied to the troops.

I feel bad for the troops. They need a belief to hold onto so that futility doesn't set in, but unfortunately, much like in Vietnam, the only thing that they will get out of this whole conflict is disillusionment and distrust of their government.
