2. If this were Air Force One, it would be a story
A corporate jet with landing gear problems is NOT a story. If it crashes, it's a little story.

This is the air equivalent of a high speed chase.

7. Disappointed because...
they've spent the last THREE HOURS filling airtime with speculative bullshit while showing live video of the sky around Portland airport.
Talk about must-see TV....not.

4. It's because they're corporate executives
And corporate executives are the most important people in America.

6. Here's what I've just sent to feedback@msnbc.com:
Your non-stop coverage of the Nike plane is the most egregious waste of television time I've ever seen.

This is a non-story, unless something bad happens, and presumably you could have your cameras there and could show us the possible accident seconds after it happened.

When I think of all the stories you don't cover - - such as the 50- point switch between the pre-election polls and the results of the Ohio election reform referendum two weeks ago - - I am sickened that you are still in posseession of a broadcasting license.

BTW, did you know that the GAO came out with a report on election irregularities in the 2004 Presidential election?

This seems like a pretty important issue, inasmuch as without honest elections we are not even a democracy.

Sincerely,
