Wisconsin corporate embezzler donated thousands to GOP candidates
This former CEO fleeced a land development company out of $10 mil. He also funnelled thousands of dollars to GOP candidates, including Bush. Yes, another corrupt Republican CEO.

As chief executive officer for southeast Wisconsin's top home builder, Robert Brownell earned at least $175,000 a year plus perks.

The biggest perk of all - at least $10 million - he secretly awarded himself from company coffers at Bielinski Brothers Builders Inc.

From 2000 until late 2004, the 44-year-old charmer siphoned his employer's wealth in a wide variety of ways. He had about $20 million worth of fraudulent activities in the works when he was indicted Oct. 12, 2004.

(snip)

He orchestrated $100,000 in campaign donations to the 2002 election campaign of then-Gov. Scott McCallum and 2004 election campaigns of President Bush and U.S. Senate hopeful Russ Darrow, none of whom have been implicated in any wrongdoing.

Here's a chart so you can 'follow the money':
