The day of the indictment, Fitz said Libby was the first reporter to reveal Plame's identity in June. I knew that was wrong, so I called my source. Because I knew I had learned one week to 10 days before Libby.

I went into aggressive reporting mode. I called the source and we talked about that fact.

The source said "I have to go to the prosecutor. I have to tell the truth." Do not tell anyone who I am.

The public wants to know whats the real story. I have spent my life trying to get whats at the bottom of the barrel. To do that you have to establish relationships of trust.
