Wash Post Editorial - Responsibility Gap - my letter:

For the past 3 years I waited with dismay for your paper to take this
administration to task for its disastrous policies that turned this once
peaceful and prosperous nation that Clinton left us into the shadow of
itself that the present administration reduced it too. Time after time
after time you covered for them: the energy meetings, the Enron ties,
the inactivity of the anti-terror commission that logically led to 9.11,
the lies leading to this war, the lies throughout this war, the
compromising of CIA agents as revenge...The list goes on and on.
And then - one day - the word responsibility appears in your editorial.
Is it about those in power in a position to affect outcomes? The Bush
Administration? The Republican Congress? Why, no, of course! What was I
thinking! It's your perennial whipping boy: the democrats. Why aren't
they fixing what your boy broke? Not fair!
Thank you for no longer pretending that you are objective, Thank
you for revealing your partisan bias at this time - it will save me a
lot of time during the campaign. Good luck with your candidate - you'll
need it!

your first sentence is kind of awkward and has a misspelling. I'd rewrite it: "For the past 3 years I waited with dismay for your paper to take this administration to task for its disastrous policies that have reduced this once peaceful and prosperous nation that Clinton left us into a shadow of itself."
