Commercial by Ken Melham
Has anyone seen the commercial where they are showing quips of the Democrats supporting the war? It is the most despical thing I have ever seen. They have politicized the war to no end

The Japanese have an interesting saying: The nail that sticks up, gets hammered down.

18. I suspect it would be just...too easy...and too cheap
The gay community, I understand, is somewhat divided over those tactics...though he is a principal political architect and moneygrubber for a party that craps all over gay people for their orientation and wants to deny them basic human rights that the rest of us slobs enjoy without thought, so it would be a bit of street justice, at that.

What would be AMUSING, though, is if someone with a PERSONAL and immediate interest in the man, say, an ex-paramour with photos, left behind as Kenny climbed the ladder of success, got all in a huff and decided to take a bit of revenge. That would sell a few newspapers and magazines!!!

5. Okay-great place to ask this
Edited on Tue Nov-22-05 02:08 PM by underpants
did they (Kerry, Hillary, etc) really say them or are they taken out of context?

I had the misfortune of listening to Hannity a few nights ago and he played a tape of Hillary (clearly reading) a statement that sounded like it was for the war. Anyone know where Hannity got this or the other ones from?

6. there was a time when they did support...
...based upon the intelligence that was given to them. That's why it's critical that we explore how the intelligence was manipulated by the White House.

9. Yes I know
They should all apologize anyway (if I knew better they should have too) but I was just wondering if this was taken out of context.

Nice avatar ;-)

10. Except they were told it would be just a threat of war and war would only
be a last resort AFTER weapons inspections and if diplomacy failed.

12. It took the brave Dem. poilitician to be against the war in 2002

That was the year my eye got opened and I developed respect for people like Russ Feingold, Dennis Kucinich and co. They call bullsh*t when they see it. During that challenging period, I got to seperate the principled from the lemmings.

13. If the Chief of Police tells you there is a rabid lion in your backyard
...and you look out the window in the dark of night, hear vicious, slobbering growling, and see a large threatening shape, well, you might actually believe there is a rabid lion in the backyard.

Then, comes the dawn, and you see Barney Fife out there, wearing a blow up lion suit, and carrying a boom box with a lion growling tape cued up...it is at that point that you know you have been had.

That's what happened to those guys--the Monkey and his pal Dick, with all of their assorted acolytes, gamed those guys. Their "fault"--if it could even be called that--was trusting the guy the WH. They didn't think he would lie, cheat, steal, and trade the blood of our young for oil. They thought wrong, but that is probably because they assume that anyone in political life will not put the wallets of their pals in front of the national security of the nation.

14. They took a lot of the lines way out of context
The level of dishonesty that it takes to even conceive an ad like this is just astounding.
