I couldn't even see straight. After watching that beautiful two year effort -- every kind of citizen banding together -- to elect President Kerry, and then to see it STOLEN invisibly, inexorably. Man, I didn't even want to drive for about a week after the election. Could hardly form a sentence without breaking out in Outrage Tourette's.

The Elections Forum was like a prayer answered. I didn't even read the other forums for a long time. Everyone knew more than I did (or do, for that matter) and in itself, that was a relief. :)

Remember, when you're first on DU, the board feels like driving someone else's car for the first time? I didn't understand what a sig line was for MONTHS. Thanks, guys.

I got here just a few months before you and for many of the same reasons. I think we have accomplished a lot at DU. I look forward to doing a lot more. We WILL get our country back.

BTW, any word on the phone books?
