Just what does "Winning the war" look like?
What will have to happen before we "win" the war?

Why isn't anyone asking Bush and his followers that question?

We need to reframe the debate by not only asking that question, but by saying that supporting the war 3 years ago doesn't mean you believe it is going well today and that the course of action doesn't need to be corrected.

1. The oil barons
will have complete access and control of Iraqi oil fields.

Once they have that, they've won. You certainly don't think this had anything to with bringing democracy to Iraq or removing a brutal dictator? If you do, then study the Pinochet regime in Chile, or the San Salvador atrocities.

2. Such a question would severely tax
our president. We are supposed to just roll over and accept whatever the right wing disinformation machine produces. There will be no victory for us - ever. A religious civil war is brewing. Their constitution is a conservatives dream; nothing in scripture can be altered by public law. I agree with your premise that POTUS needs to be asked, what constitutes victory? He has no fucking idea. - MEANWHILE OUR KIDS CONTINUE TO DIE.

3. This is why we have to ask the question everytime someone says...
...we aren't leaving Iraq until we "win" the war.

EVERY TIME!!!

5. May I suggest that we add
"we aren't leaving Iraq until you enlist and go there and have your balls descend." Come on conservatives get with the program. Be men. Owning a pickup truck and fucking your daughter doesn't make you a man, it makes you a bush supporter. Enlist, be a man, patrol fallujah.

6. It looks like about September, no later than October
Definitely Victory will be declared and some troops moved out of Iraq by election time. Everything about this "War on Terror" has been geared towards our elections. War is supposed to make Republicans look strong but a funny thing happened on the way to Bush*'s War. The nation has never witnessed such incompetence at such high levels of government and everyone knows who is running the government at all levels.
