5. Then We Go To Plan 2
Can You Spell C-O-N-S-C-R-I-P-T-I-O-N?

About 2 years ago I volunteered to serve on the local Draft Board. You didn't know they still existed, did you? The network is in place to reinstate the draft any time they want.

6. The armed forces will just get older.
As I understand it, once you sign up, the military has your ass for twenty years. Convention prevents that right from being exercised, but once you're in, you're never really out until you complete two decades of service. There are many millions of Americans who have not completed a full twenty years of service. They will be called back should recruitment fall below acceptable levels.

10. A question we asked in the 60's
What if they gave a war and nobody came?

If we're lucky, this time around we'll find out.

11. Exactly...
...think how hard everyone would fight to prevent the return of the draft.

If no volunteers leads to pressure to resurrect the draft -OR- end the war, which way would America go?

15. So far some are on #3 and no mutiny in sight...
Don't think that's likely to happen. That said, I don't believe that the war will be for an eternity. rummy et al will pull them out before that happens, rest them for a few months to get ready to invade Syria.+
