(Little Rock)-- Calling him "two dimensional" and a "graven image," ministers from two local churches rallied fives of followers to action against "Flat Stanley" at the steps of the State Capitol yesterday.

"This Flat Stanley thing is just another example of Libruls trying to remove God from our schools," said Reverend K. O. "Peck" Tate of the Baptist Organization for Missionary Brotherhood (BOMB). "What will be next? Flat Jesus?"

"It's a conspiracy, pure and simple," agreed Bishop Pawn Rook of the Organization of Fundamental United Christians of the Kingdom (OFUCK). "Flat Stanley is just a puppet of the Clintons!"

After eight minutes of largely peaceful flag-waving, attendees left the rally in the back of a '77 Chevrolet pickup. One rally-goer was slightly injured during a heated discussion over whether the Confederate flag was being displayed upside down.
