There were some bombshells today...
Edited on Wed Nov-23-05 12:30 AM by sabra
Wow, what a day:

- Libby hired a lawyer, who specialized in national security related issues, and was on Ollie North's defense team. Now why would some one who just had a case of short term memory need that kind of legal assistance?

- UK Mirror reported a memo that proclaims that * wanted to bomb Al-Jazeerah. Supposedly Blair talked him out it. I would love to see the transcript of that one.

- A PDB from 9/21/2001 reported to *'s inner circle that there was no Iraq-Al Qaeda (9/11/01) connection. Something they decided not to share. Remember Dick said, that rewriting history is 'irresponsible'...

- WP is stating that the Pentagon has plans for troop reductions ("cut and run" ?)

- WSJ reported that 64% believe that the WH Misleads Public

What else did I miss? Can't wait for tomorrow. :-)

2. The Pope...
...declared Bush/Cheney the two headed antichrist.

Jean Schmidt got red white and blue dye poisoning and was taken to the emergency room.

Tom DeLay's trial got delayed.

They sent Arnhold over to punch out Murtha.

Cheney had to plug in an external heart because his bionic one froze up while he was drinking some fresh goat blood.

Bush pardoned a turkey...no...not Libby.

But most importantly, DU got a facelift.

27. It's the gift that keeps giving
There were so many disappointed people after the indictment came down because they were listening to the MSM's combo of disappointment and glee. I spent several days on the phone reassuring disappointed relatives and friends that the indictment was good news because, among other things, the indictment showed 1)the investigation was continuing; 2) it showed that despite Bush's claim that the WH was cooperating was a nothing but BS - which means there's a lot more there than meets the eye; 3) it is making more and more people question the government under BushCo and 4) more people are beginning to question the media and how it works.

Nowadays I look forward to the news. It is no longer filled with the Bush lovefest that consumed the country after 9/11.

Especially in 2001, they just didn't seem to capture his interest.

    11. Rigged election bombshell - US Sues Missouri Over Voters in 2004 Election
Not that most of us here don't already know about the stolen/rigged election of 2004, but still - good to see some of it getting corporate media exposure. Even if it is only the obvious shit like registering more voters than you have people in the county. :eyes:

    30. Sure. Here's a 4 paragraph snippet:
US Sues Missouri Over Voters in 2004 Election
    By REUTERS
    Published: November 22, 2005

    Filed at 9:17 p.m. ET

KANSAS CITY, Missouri (Reuters) - The U.S. Justice Department has sued Missouri, a swing state won easily by President George W. Bush, for voting violations in the 2004 election, including registering more people to vote in some counties than their entire voting-age population.

The complaint, filed on Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri, said 29 Missouri counties and election jurisdictions had more people registered to vote than there actually were people of voting age living in those areas.

One Missouri county, for instance, showed voter registrations that amounted to more than 150 percent of the true voting-age population in that county.

Missouri Secretary of State Robin Carnahan acknowledged the voting irregularities in the 2004 federal election but said in a statement that the Justice Department's decision to file suit was costly and unjustified as the state was working to correct its voters rolls.

Basically, they said opposing the occupation is not a bad thing.

And, they all agreed the US has got to get a schedule and get busy leaving.

So, the Iraqi DEMOCRATICALLY elected reps are saying get out, and it's ok to resist.
