Election 2004 Resources?
I'm looking for a website that will list all of the Senate and House seats that are up for grabs in 2004, as well as any candidates who have already declared for those races. Can anyone recommend a reference?

Does anyone besides me think that the Congressional battlefield is being neglected in the 2004 next election? I'd like the presidential candidate I'm supporting to have as many left of center lawmakers as possible to work with when they are elected! Is any organizing being done on DU to focus efforts on a geographic basis? I'm asking this for those of us who have found it difficult or non-productive to work with our local Democratic leadership.

1. Here's a few resources I find useful

http://www.dcpoliticalreport.com

P/C forum (look for anything posted by me with a News icon)

And of course...AWD and Whitacre D_WI are both running for Congress.

2. thanks for passing those along!
to push my luck even further, have you seen any reputable sites that do handicapping of said races?

and I did know about AWD's run for congress! C'mon, GET ANGRY! I'd like to see more DU'ers emulate his example in 2006, even if it's on a more local level. Start laying the groundwork now, folks, and retake our country from the ground up!

3. Goobergunch handicaps races, I think...
...but I'm not sure how "reputable" he is ;)

One way to help is (ahem) to click on this link.

4. Here are a couple good ones
The first is a well done CNN site that is covering the presidential primary race, it has a lot of information laid out in a nice presentation.

The second is a rundown of the Senate races, it's a brief but good capsule format of the 'hot races', the safe seats for either side, the interesting races, etc.
