Impeach Bush: Arcata Votes!

Well it looks like the City of Arcata unanimously voted to send a letter to the Judiciary Commitee to investigate whther the Bush administration violated the Constitution. Also potentially distrubing news about the Santa Cruz City Mayor and her business that could illustrate what happens when you go up against the Bush Cartel.

Late Wednesday night, the city of Arcata followed in Santa Cruz's footsteps, unanimously adopting a letter urging the Judiciary Committee to investigate whether the Bush administration violated the constitution by exaggerating the threat posed by Iraq before the war.

Arcata council member Dave Meserve was in Washington on Thursday, hoping to hand-deliver Arcata's letter on Capitol Hill while attending a conference of representatives of the 188 cities and three states that have publicly opposed the U.S. Patriot Act.

Strange that this wasn't covered in more news media today!

I was just in Arcata a few minutes ago. The populace was intact - seemingly very. The Green Party runs the City of Arcata! Thank God for those Greens!
