Bailing out Bush with $87 billion in taxpayer money.

It's a familiar pattern with Junior isn't it? No matter what mistakes he makes, no matter what fiascos he creates, someone always steps in to bail him out. This time the Bushbots are bailing out Junior by robbing the treasury. And the truly galling thing about it is that Bush will continue to strut around like the successful man he most assuredly is not.

This $87 billion is nothing but a bail-out for Junior. It is a crock. All of this taxpayer money is being used to buy stability in Iraq for the coming election year. The mere request for $87 billion is a megaphone-loud admission of failure. Bush can whine about the media and squeakily insist how successful his Iraq misfire is until he is blue in the face, but the cost of this debacle thunders failure.

What did we get out of this anyway?

This amounts to the largest publically financed campaign in history, no?

relection campaign next year. Seems the salaries of the troops are paid through the $400 billion the defense department gets. All the $87 billion is going to defense contractors - Halliburton, Root/Borwn, Carlyle Group etc. And you can bet a nice portion will show up in the republican pot next year.
