Political Humor Poll -- What's your favorite Bushism?
Edited on Mon Nov-28-05 02:40 AM by Peter Frank
Choices:

"Families is where our nation finds hope, where wings take dream."

"I know how hard it is for you to put food on your family."

"They misunderestimated me."

"Rarely is the question asked: Is our children learning?"

2. That was my choice too...
...but ya gotta love, "I know how hard it is for you to put food on your family."

3. "I am a pit bull on the pant leg of opportunity"

I used that Bush quote in one of my Returning Bannee accounts at Café Paranoia (FR) that lasted a long time.

None of the morons recognized the tongue in cheek tweaking of their little FReeper noses the entire time that account lasted.

Real incisive intellectual giants those guys.

One of my favorite poems:

Make The Pie Higher

by George W. Bush

I think we all agree, the past is over.
This is still a dangerous world.
It's a world of madmen and uncertainty and potential mental losses.
Rarely is the question asked, Is our children learning?
Will the highways of the Internet become more few?

How many hands have I shaked?
They misunderestimate me.
I am a pit bull on the pant leg of opportunity.
I know that the human being and the fish can coexist.
Families is where our nation finds hope, where our wings take dream.
Put food on your family!
Knock down the tollbooth!
Vulcanize Society!
Make the pie higher! Make the pie higher!

"Too many good OB/GYN's aren't able to practice their love with women all across this country!"

5. The fourth one is not technically a Bushism. . .
as it's both coherent and correct: That question is rarely asked. In fact, before George W. made it known to us, I'd never heard any question like it asked by anyone.
