CNN is reporting Breaking News that a portion of the facade of the Supreme Court building has collapsed.

WASHINGTON -- A basketball-sized piece of marble moulding fell from the facade over the entrance to the Supreme Court, landing on the steps near visitors waiting to enter the building.

No one was injured when the stone fell. The marble was part of the dentil moulding that serves as a frame for the frieze of statues atop the court's main entrance.

The large piece of marble fell from the building's facade above the words "Equal Justice Under Law" just before 10 a.m.

The justices are meeting Monday to issue orders and hear arguments.

9. jerry falwell and pat robertson claim that katrina and wilma et al are

signs from God that tell how displease He is over our sins...and usually we laugh at them and/or take their words with a grain of salt.
We are now the ones telling the Falwell and Robertson crowd that God is unhappy about the BUSHCO CABAL and his SUPREME COURT CRONIES.

Whether God has spoken through katrina, or wilma, or the collapsing of the Supreme Court building facade, i don't know...but my human heart tells me that katrina and wilma were acts of a nature which has been mishandled and neglected over many years by governments and greedy corporations...now, with the Supreme Court Facade, my heart tells me, "ah�--someone had better start paying attention!"

Dunvegan's joke to the contrary, the parts came from right next to the carving of the goddess Justice, who holds the balanced scales of impartiality. I would not at all be surprised to find out that, at just the moment the facade cracked and began dropping chunks of marble, Bush was signing "pre-pardon" directives for Rove, DeLay, Abramoff and the rest of his cronies.

The only remaining question is, if Bush signs any more or has to execute those directives, which part of Justice will crumble next, her head or her scales?

Oh, and recommended.
