Ex-FEMA Chief To Do Disaster Consulting
<snip>
It takes one to know one? Michael Brown lost his job as head of the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency over FEMA's slow response to Hurricane Katrina. Now, he is starting a disaster preparedness consulting firm to help others avoid a similar fate.

"I think people are curious," Brown said in media reports. " 'My gosh, what was it like? The media just really beat you up. You made mistakes. I don't want to be in that situation. How do I avoid that?' "

The Bush administration removed Brown from his role managing Hurricane Katrina relief efforts on September 9. He left the agency on September 12. </snip>

Who is going to pay this clown to tell them how to avoid a disaster?

2. Funny!
People who think he still has connections with DC powerbrokers may hire him in an attempt to penetrate the inner circle of power. However, there will be few of them.
About the only career I see for him is as a personal shopper at Nordstrom's.

3. Yes, He's A Consultant Hired BY Disasters
They want to know how to be more destructive. His first client is an earthquake and I hear he's also pitching his services to several near earth meteors.

5. bush to be a consultant, post-presidency
He is going to provide his expertise to other conservatives on how to be a successful president. Brown is too fucking stupid to realize he's a failure, just like the guy who appointed him.

6. I think I need to hire Brownie
Brown. My life has been too good lately. I need some disaster in my life.

Knowing Brownie, he'll really prepare me for the worst.

8. He's just talking about avoiding ...
being seen as a moran in the media. You know, making sure you have your sleeves rolled up just the right way, looking like a "fashion god", that sort of thing. Who cares about the fact that your screw ups killed people? He's learned how to avoid the media pitfalls, like people noticing you're an out of touch, incompetent idiot. That's what's important and where the money is!

getting contracts from samll burgs who have city officials who feel the need for a "brush with fame." He'll also do well on the repug rubber chicken speaking circuit. I know his speech, and you do to!!! "It ain't my fault! Its the liberal media and that guy Nagen! They didn't ASK for help." He might also get the sponsorship of Nordstroms.
