Duke Cunningham was just another tool of the Military Industrial Complex.
Forget about the politics of this. He was on committees that held the purse strings of the Department of Defense. Our government spends OBSCENE amounts of money on national defense. This congressman was throwing away our tax dollars like it was Monopoly money. Meanwhile we hear that there is no money for education or health care.

This is along the theme of a documentary I saw about the Military Industrial Complex called "Why We Fight".
