50 Cent thinks Bush is "incredible"
Edited on Mon Nov-28-05 04:26 PM by damkira
(From MTV.COM)

50 Cent and Kanye West are the only ones selected to be GQ's "Men of the Year" who have no false modesty about it — both of the hip-hop stars justify their big egos in the mag's pages. But they also have more on their minds

50 Cent, Kanye West In GQ's 10th Annual "Men Of The Year Issue"
than just themselves. Like George W. Bush, for one. 50 thinks the president is "incredible ... a gangsta." "I wanna meet George Bush, just shake his hand and tell him how much of me I see in him," 50 told GQ. If the rapper's felony conviction didn't prevent him from voting, 50 said he would have voted for Bush. Meanwhile, Kanye basically called Bush a racist on national television, and has since rethought his strategy for speaking out. "When NBC edited it out on the West Coast, that was a wakeup call," West told the magazine. "It let people know how censored we still are. This is supposed to be America, but you can't get your opinion out. There's all kinds of things I want to say, but I need to pace myself, to make sure my opportunities to say these things aren't taken away too abruptly." Kanye says after giving us entertainment, his next goal is to give us "inspiration." 50's next goal? He wants to market a condom. ...

2. I love this line..

"If the rapper's felony conviction didn't prevent him from voting, 50 said he would have voted for Bush."

Seems appropriate a felon would vote for shrub though, isn't it? :)

12. Not only a felon....
but someone whose lyrics are filled with sexism and homophobia and whose ultimate goal is to "get rich or die tryin'" would, of course, be a Republican. What a moran. It's a shame people listen to his music so much when they could be listening to some of the more intelligent hip hop artists.

3. A gangsta?! Couldn't have said it better myself.
50 thinks the president is "incredible ... a gangsta." "I wanna meet George Bush, just shake his hand and tell him how much of me I see in him," 50 told GQ. If the rapper's felony conviction didn't prevent him from voting, 50 said he would have voted for Bush.

Can't they create a cabinet position for him? 50 Cent, Secretary of Rap... perfect. :sarcasm:

What would King Dumbass**' movie be called? "Destroy the World or Die Tryin'"?

15. He's right
Bush is a gangsta - nothing less. He doesn't operate at street level like "fitty" - he doesn't have to. He carries out his thuggery with massive armies, wealth and cronyism - just an upscale version of what 50 would like to do.

Is it any surprise that Bush would have strong support from convicted criminals?

42. Wow
What do you know. I wonder if 50 writes anything about Bushie. Please give me Kanye's music. He's more my type of person. I'm not huge on rap but I really do enjoy Kanye, TLC and Diddy (I know that's kinda weird but he is a democrat and I think he's talented and classy). I've seen an interview on MTV2 with Kanye not too long ago this past month or so and he was very thoughtful and intelligent and seems to care about what he says etc.

38. I bet he says that because he's all about the money
But I've looked at/heard 50's lyrics and the only thing he has in common with Bush is love of money and robbing people. Apparently 50 Cent doesn't know where Bush "officially" stands on sex and drugs (nevermind the rumors we might have heard otherwise lol) - 50's lifestyle is pretty much the opposite of what Bush promotes.
