Tweety apparently thinks we are all "whack-jobs"
tonight he said, "...everybody sort of likes the president, except for maybe the real "whack-jobs" on the left--likes him personally, but..."

I have news: I am a normal Mid-westerner with a husband, house, three kids, two cats. I pay my taxes, vote, obey the speed limit, pay my bills, don't smoke, and only drink wine moderately.

But no--in reality I'm just a "whack-job" because I dislike (personally) this president! And I know exactly why I do: I love America and hate what he is doing to my country!!

3. Small % like Bush personally. Tweety should talk to McCain's son who
hates Bush with a passion and so does his father. His father is just too much of a shill to admit it.

Tweety has NO SENSE. He laps up everything his GOP shill brother says with his forked tongue.

Sorry Tweety, the smart people were no more fooled by the media made GWB than we were by the media made Ahnold! Neither men belong in politics at the level they are occupying.

After 5 years of the fool, I like GWB even less than before. If that makes me a whack job, sign me up! Better a whack job, than a fool fooled by a fool.

8. It amazes me when they
say things like that and I wonder just where they get that stuff from. If they have ever gone to a march or a meeting all they would see are middle aged people who work all day at an honest living, have families etc., just people who read and are extremely concerned about the direction this country is taking and want to do what they can change it, to make it better for everyone.

There is nothing, but NOTHING, likeable about Bush. Not even a little bit. Nor does he exude - as Tweety also said - a "sunny nobility." It's truly a scary, scary thought about what the future now holds!! OH, and by-the-by, I HATE TWEETY also.

Too stupid to understand that a middle-aged sociopathic fratboy is not a LIKABLE person, but is rather an EMOTIONALLY RETARDED person ordinarily to be pitied, but in occupying the highest office is the cause of ABJECT TERROR among all reasonable people.

How many Americans know Bush personally? When has he ever given a real look at himself. It's all photo ops with him to canned audiences. I have no opinion of Bush personally because he has spent 0 % of his presidency trying to be personal to the American people. He has on the other hand spent almost 100 % of his time trying to sell me on an image of him.

29. Spending all this time on Bush works against us....
Edited on Mon Nov-28-05 07:11 PM by higher class
Cheney and Rumsfeld are the the two that we should focus all our attention on. Think of it as a movie - Cheney and Rumsfeld know how to fund it all, they know their agenda and timetable, who they have coerced or eliminated - everything. They are comparable to the financiers, choreagraphers, sound and light technicians, editors, marketers - the entire thing. George is just a not-so-hot actor. In fact, they have to be very careful what they tell him about their plan and his part in it. They let him play at being the Pres. They walk a difficult line. George has a delicate and complex personality that many need to tend to - coaching, educating, pumping up. He lives in a different reality and they walk a tightrope with him.

The media and we are being just playing around with the actor and ignoring the infrastructure and the infrastructure head honchos and talent - they are the ones I call the co-Presidents. Their agenda is all about war profit, control, fooling us. With the protection of Israel thrown in.

It is traditional to focus on the President because they have, in the past, led the country - they have been the ones with the ideas.

Matthews and all the others are sissies to play with making us think that George is leading. Why don't they concentrate on Cheney and Rumsfeld? Because they might uncover some truth and they are not about to level with us. They flinch and hurt at the Congresspeople and columnists and blogs who are telling the truth - in real time - not 12, 24, 48 hours after any event because of the wait for the talking points - by Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rove, Norquist, Card, Gonzales, the Federalist Society and, of course, THE PNAC WORLD guys and gals along with the barons. It sometimes takes an assessment of the repercussions and other contingencies. They know what can happen when they goof up.

We are wasting our time on George.

The Wall Street Journal's Resident Pro-Life GOP Moralist Knocks Up His Girlfriend's Daughter... and Lets Her Get an Abortion!
By Tamara Baker

Sept. 5, 2001 -- SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA (APJP) -- As I think I'll find myself having to say more often lately, I swear I did not make this up!

Yet another GOP moral arbiter has been caught with his pants down (I know, I know; Republican exposed as hypocrite, sun rises in east. But I digress...). This time, the exposed Republican hypocrite is none other than the Wall Street Journal's moralist-in-chief, Council for National Policy member (and allegedly fervent anti-abortionist) John Fund.

Fund went and impregnated the daughter of an old girlfriend of his -- and then John Fund, that staunch pro-lifer, looked the other way when she aborted his child.

Both the mother, Melinda Pillsbury-Foster, and daughter, Morgan Pillsbury, have decided to go to the press -- in this case, John Connolly of WeaselSearch.com. And they did so in a most spectacular way -- in the form of an audiotaped conversation between John Fund and Morgan Pillsbury over what the nastily-browbeating Fund says are Morgan's mom's threats against him.

-------------------------------------------

ya know tweety..i not only don't like * ..i have never hated in my 54 years..but i want you to know this tweety..i hate *..i hate him with every inch of my being ...for being ignorant, a murderer, a torturer, for bankrupting my country both morally and economically...

but i hate * because i believe he made 9/11 happen..and killed my co-workers, and many of my neighbors in nj...yes tweety..i must be wacked out...

but goodness sakes tweety..i must be so wacked out ..that i think the guy you told i was wacked out to ..is the scum of the earth!!..but whats a wacked out person like me to think...scum is good ...corrupt is good..murdering is good...abusing children is good...( see john fund)..is that your motto tweety???

well tweety..i now proudly wear the badge of "wacked out"...yep thats me..wacked out..

but you know what tweety..i once had John Fund on one of my flights..and ya know what tweety..he put his life in my wacked out hands!!..yes he did....and i told him i thought he was a not nice person...because see tweety..John Fund smeared Clinton over and over again..but he doesn't give a shit that * lied us into war..and allowed 9/11 to happen....but he sure put his life in my hands tweety....

63. John Fund!! Woman abuser and anti-abortionist
who told his girlfriend's daughter (on tape as I recall) who he had impregnated, to go get an abortion.

Next, Tweety will be telling us that 'most people like that hypocrite who slammed Clinton for supposedly being 'immoral' night after night on television, while living his own, sordid and useless life.

How many 'wackos' who dislike Bush manage to screw both the mother and the daughter, get the daughter pregnant, talk her into an abortion, get arrested for 'assault' and then have the lying, 'liberal' press have the gall to try to rehabilitate the hypocrite by sneaking him back, hoping we all have the same short memories they seem to have.

I must be a 'wacko' also. I don't like being lied to ~ I detest hypocrites like John Fund, and people like Tweety who talk to women abusers as if they were NOT wackos!!

The only way to survive this media is to organize a huge boycott of it until all the propagandists are gone ~

To have to pay for this is a crime ~ we have to do something to get a real press, with real reporters or this country will not survive.

I will email Tweety to remind him about his guest's 'wacko' behavior. Well, at least where I come from, sleeping with your former girlfriend's daughter, getting her pregnant, talking her into an abortion, asking her not to tell anyone, and then moralizing about everyone else's behavior, is considered 'wacko' behavior. But what do I know?

Oh, and just to make sure I earn the label 'wacko' ~ I detest George Bush ~ and so does everyone I know!

...who ever tried to rip me off.

So because my old-fashioned midwestern 'horse sense' told me back in 2000 that Bush is a two-faced con artist, I'm a whack-job? Perhaps, but I get fooled a lot less than fawners like Tweety.

I'm always sort of amazed at people who say he's 'likeable'. Bush's 'glad-handing' act is so transparent to me, I hang onto my wallet everytime he comes on the teevee.

There is ***nothing** honorable in this man -- he is soulless.

55. Thanks, I just emailed
Subject: I don't appreciate being personally insulted by Chris Matthews

Text: Count me as one of those Americans who doesn't like Bush.

For the record, I'm an army veteran (military intelligence) who also worked in intelligence as a civilian government employee, and then as a defense contractor. I don't "sort of like" people who compromise our intelligence assets. I don't "sort of like" people who cover up and protect those guilty of endangering the lives of our intelligence assets, nor do I "sort of like" people who allow them to have continued access to classified information.

The comment by Chris Matthews that anyone who doesn't like Bush is a "whack job" was not only condescending, but also ignorant and unprofessional.

79. good idea--I wrote them too
this is what I sent:

Chris,
I do not appreciate being called a "whack-job", by which I assume you mean a "loser" who doesn't know anything. I happen to hold a Bachelor's Degree in English, graduating Summa cum laude. I am married to a man who is a Computer Science Engineer. All three of our children have their B.A. degrees, and one of them also holds two Master's degrees and speaks three languages.
We own our own home and have no debts. We pay our taxes and bills. What about this indicates we are "whack-jobs"?

That comment made me very angry--to be spoken of so dismissively.

I strongly disagree with your assertion that most people like the president as a person. Those of us on the left see nothing to like.
Many perfectly reasonable people don't like his character, words or actions. I really question the judgement of someone who doesn't see that. I had avoided your program for over a year until recently. Looks like I'm going to be avoiding it in the future as well.

He gets paid by the theme...this one cost the WH plenty or GE plenty.

This is simply beyond belief. About 1/2 the people despised * in 2004 at election time, really thought he was an ass wipe.

Now 60% or so think he's dishonest in general and about sending people off to die and get injured in Iraq.

But Tweetie doesn't care. He's "endorsing the product"...think of it as "Payoila" as in the music promoters and on air DJ's. It's all a big fat joke to Tweetie.

62. The hubris of Mathews speaking for "everybody"!
Chris Mathew's head is so large because it is stuffed with paper, hay and rags. He is incapable of coherent, critical thought and he cannot divide issues from personalities.

I would love to see a talk show where giant quotes are posted and the panel or guest has to say "agree" or "disagree" without knowing who said what.

We saw this during both elections, too. The "which one would you like to have beer with" test Tweety talks about.

Well, this pretty boring, average American sees Bush as a whiny, conceited, intellectually-limited, mean, spiteful man. Gee, sure, just the kind of person I'd want to hang around with.

I guess I just gravitate toward a better class of human beings?

70. This whack job's letter to Tweety -
I hope he gets thousands and thousands of letters. His hero worshipping of an idol with feet of clay is funny.

I worte -

I take exception to your characterization of people who do not like George Bush as "whack jobs" of the extreme left. You owe everyone of your viewers an apology.

Just for clarification, I am a middle age woman who voted in her first election in 1968 and have never missed a primary or general election since. I have three daughters, five granddaughters, a home and a job. I graduated college with a degree in political science, I pay taxes, volunteer, donate to charities and am a pretty good all-round person. Reading, water sports, crossword puzzles, taking classes, and gardening are just a few of my interests. I am extremely patriotic, had a father, stepfather and a father-in-law who all served in World War II, a husband who served during the Viet Nam War, a brother and sister-in-law that both retired after distinguished Air Force careers and all three sons-in-law served honorably in the Marines and the Army. I still get misty-eyed at the national anthem and a lump in my throat at seeing the flag wave.

I follow politics because I know that our government needs a watch dog to keep them honest. I learned this the hard way during the Viet Nam War years and the Watergate scandal. I know power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely so I demand a lot from my elected officials. I have entrusted with them a sacred responsibility by my vote and I expect them to answer to me and my fellow citizens for all of their actions. I also expect a lot from the "free" press" to help keep the government working properly. The last possible thing you should call me is a "whack job."

That said, I hate George Bush with every fiber of my being. I find nothing "noble" or "genuine" or "real" about this pseudo politician who has failed at every single thing he has ever attempted in his life. He has had every advantage that a rich, privileged life could offer and he still manages to screw it up while Daddy's rich friends have to step in and bail him out - time and time again. He is an uninformed, dull, mean-spirited asshole who makes jokes about WMDs not being found or sentencing a woman to die. He surrounds himself with sycophants who pander to his huge ego and fragile persona. He is grinning his way through life while sending our kids off to fight a senseless, useless war for oil. He has turned government into a giant all day lollipop for his rich friends. He is attempting to trash Social Security, our environment, and education all in the name of feathering the nests of political cronies. He is putting a national debt on the backs of my children and grandchildren while ensuring that the richest 1% of this country gets tax break after tax break. My country is in more danger from within its own government than it will ever be from terrorists - and we have a rich, immature frat boy to blame for it. There is nothing kind, nice, or Christian about this guy and your pretending otherwise is just silly. You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear - and you need to quit trying.

If anyone should be called a "whack job" it is the people, like you, that insist in giving accolades and phony adjectives to a president that is a total and complete failure. If you are running for president of Bush's fan club, good luck, but while on the air why don't you try to pull back on the name calling, smearing and the meanness to Americans who just want to keep our government officials honest. Is that too much to ask?

What's to like about the Bush Junta? They steal elections, they allow (or participate in) attacks on the nation in 2001 where thousands die, they use the deaths they allowed (caused) on Sept 11 to sell us more war and kill thousands more, they steal tax money, they spy on us, and basically psychologically abuse us.

It's not enough for Tweety to have us believe all the bullshit, but we have to LIKE the bullshitter. Enjoy the abuse.
