BBV: Suppose I knew of a certain county in a certain state..
Edited on Fri Oct-17-03 10:44 AM by wyldwolf
..that just spend a certain amount of money on voting machines from a certain company.

And suppose I knew a certain someone who was involved in that process and I'd been tellin him/her the problems with that certain company.

Now supposes I just saw a copy of a letter sent by a local legal firm that appears to be challenging the accuracy of said voting machines - with clear implications (IMO) of lawsuits should they be used in any further elections in this certain county.

Would that be news?

3. Unless I fill in the names and places...
...there is nothing else to tell... at the moment.

I can say this: I took a class this week to be a poll manager and was trained on a voting machine from that certain company with about 20 others.

Half the machines had trouble in the training class. Most typically spitting the voter cards back out.

5. I am glad to see you are involved at the level you are!
As BBV becomes more and more understood, I hope there will be a raft of lawsuits demanding a voter verifiable paper ballot.

12. I've been thinking about this...
I don't know, that slogan doesnt'do it for me... I mean, paper has electrons, ink has electrons... There is nothing bad with electrons per se!... Sorry, don't mean to spoil the fun, I am not sure it has traction... I don't have anything better to offer at this moment, though... My 2c. -C
