Sadly there are still people who drink the kool aid -- CNN emails:

http://www.cnn.com/2005/POLITICS/11/30/feedback.iraq.plan/

Your e-mails: When should troops leave Iraq?

We should not leave Iraq until the insurgents have stopped and Iraq's new government has had a chance to get on solid footing. The loss of lives in this attempt -- while sad -- is a small investment in the future of our world. If we don't "stay the course" in Iraq, we will not be able to do it anywhere else. The insurgents must know that we will not give up. Some one will win this war and it had better be the U.S.A.
Brenda Bradshaw, Anderson, South Carolina

The mission needs to be completed!
Phillip Tatum, Lebanon, Kentucky

Complete victory is necessary and vital to U.S. interest, and failure cannot be an option. We must stay the course.
Levina Karl, Maplewood, Minnesota

3. Really. Let her tell that to a fallen soldier's family.
I think they would not feel it was such a small investment.

5. Well said.
And so true.

What she means is, "while sad....for someone ELSE."

2. Listen to the parrots. Each one quotes a tired cliche from Chimpy.

4. This sort of sentiment is reasonable only as long as one believes that
there is an "enemy" of our "way of life." But when one closely examines the concept of "enemy" and scrutinizes the American "way of life," it's easy to see how false are these conceits.

8. Anyone signed up for RNC e-blasts?
I'm guessing the RNC emailed everyone urging them to send the media a strong show of support for Bush (and donate $100 for good measure).

When we start seeing "I.C. Brown", "Pat Reyut", and "Bea Lever" it will be a sure sign of desperation.
